A Corporate charity event for Stonegate Pubs Ltd

Stonegate ( owners of The Slug & Lettuce, and Yates pub chains) hosted a relay charity event carrying the "charity Passport" to each of their 660 venues nationally. This included Yates at Newport (IOW) so they needed to get the passport across to the Island in a hurry !  All dropped in Cowes we went on to Yarmouth for a fish & chips lunch at the renowned Salty's Restuarant.

A great day was had by all !

Weekend 17 / 18th May

Perfect Boating weather and many great trips out of Gunwharf Quays this weekend

Sunday 11th May '14

Winds gusting force 9 and sea state moderate to rough so all trips cancelled for a 2nd day (despite the sun-shine ! ) Skipper's day off so a refreshing windy walk along the beach at East Head (West Wittering)  Beautiful beyond description - reminded me why we bring parties here during the summer season !

Saturday 5 April

 Saturday was a really busy day !

Caroline's Hen Group of 7 at 10.15, followed by Helen's Hen Group of 14 across to Bembridge Sailing Club for drinks at 11.30.  Shane's Stag Group of 14 at 1.30 pm to Cowes for lunch, then back to 'Trinity's' at the Lightship after. Meanwhile, two separate hour trips out of Gunwharf during the afternoon  -  Everybody had a great time and three boats extremely busy.

Thanks to everyone for joining us, and shame the weather wasn't as kind as the week before !

Portsmouth Naval Life Exhibition finally opens to the public today, after an £ 11M project and complete restoration of HMS Alliance, which saw active service in 1945. 

Come and view her from the water on any of our Solent RIB trips !
